Composer’s Datebook

Writers who’ve received a bad review might want to visit www.composersdatebook.org for a bit of encouragement.  Every day, Composer’s Datebook tells the story of a classical music composition, and most of those stories involve famous works opening to great critical derision.  The stories are interesting in and of themselves, and often lead me back to a piece of music I haven’t heard in much too long.
