I loved this story. Especially the emphasis on the differing perspectives from cats to humans, and the difficulty recognizing common objects and places from the cats’ points of view.

Thanks. I guess you can tell I live among many cats.

“The Secret Lives of Cats” is a great story, just as I’ve expect from you, though reading it irritated me a little.

I’m a writer myself, you see, with several novels and a bunch of short stories to my credit. Here’s the thing. I have two indoor cats, several outdoor cats, and a woodsy/swampy area out back where the outdoor cats spend their days.

But did I think to write such a story? No, of course not. Not me.

Funny how an idea comes to one of us, but not the other.

LOL, James. You are not the first writer to tell me this about this story. 🙂
