I couldn’t make it to Worldcon this year, so Asimov’s kindly sent my award this month.  Here I am, showing it off in my office, the uninterested Sir Galahad of Kitten behind me.  Such fun!  Thanks to everyone who voted for “The Room of Lost Souls.” Much appreciated!

Kris, you’ve got to feel awfully good about that award.

    Well done!

I do, Brad. Readers’ awards mean the world to me. Readers are the ones who matter, after all. If they don’t like what you do, then you’re doing something wrong. :-)

Congratulations! That is really wonderful news! I stopped by hoping to find out when to expect a new Retrieval Artist novel. Love your work!

No RA novel this year, Melisa, but Analog will publish a RA novella in Jan/Feb. And I have a new sf series starting out of Pyr called Diving into the Wreck. Thanks for the kind comments!
