No need to apologize, Guy. That's what I get for not checking my facts. :-)

Um....I'm only mentioning this 'cause I JUST used Card's "Ender's Game" short story to show young folk at a Young Author's Conference how a "little" story could start a phenomenon.

"Ender's Game" was in the August 1977 issue of ANALOG (pages 102-134).

Um...sorry...

Thanks, Ryan. I like that the magazines are online as well, so I don't lose the articles after I throw out the magazine. Nor do I have a stack of clippings around my office any more. More glimpses to come in February!

I think I might have to follow some of your recommendations! I've read a little bit of "Anatomy of a Siege" and have been vaguely watching Indian SF since, wondering if someone might come up with a story that resonates with it.

The Gothic book by Bray looks fun, too, and "We've Seen the Future". Between that, and "Anatomy of a Siege", I've been appreciating that so many magazines are online now. I wouldn't have had access to any of these, or knowledge of them, a while ago.

I love getting a glimpse of what you're reading!
