Daw books just published my short story, “The Destroyer,” in Human For A Day, one of the last anthologies co-edited by Martin H. Greenberg. As usual, I had a marvelous time working with Marty, Jennifer, and Tekno. I’ll miss those interactions. That business has changed a great deal these days. But we’ll have the anthologies. And this one looks good, just from the table of contents. I hope you’ll find a copy somewhere and enjoy. Here’s one place to order a copy. I’m sure your local bookstore will have one as well.
A New Urban Fantasy Story!
I love taking part in the Uncollected Anthology of Urban Fantasy. Every quarter, we put out individual stories on the same theme (hence "anthology" and "uncollected"). This time, Dayle Dermatis, Leah Cutter, Ron Collins, Leslie Claire Walker, Rebecca Senese, and Annie Reed, have joined me in the Out of the Woods "anthology."
A New Science Fiction Story!
Asimov's has just published my first sentient ship story, "Matilda."
