A New Spade/Paladin Story In Time For Halloween

Written By: Kristine Kathryn Rusch - Oct• 02•12

My Spade/Paladin mystery stories take place at science fiction conventions. As all sf die-hards know, sf conventions leave Halloween to the “mundanes,” folks who aren’t die-hard sf fans. So why set a mystery story on Halloween at an sf convention? Why not?

So you can find the new story in the December issue of Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine (magazine cover dates have nothing to do with reality), which is on the stands now, or you can order it from various e-vendors or from the website. And here, to entice you, is an excerpt. Enjoy!

Woohoo! I was too late to catch Pandora’s Box in AHMM last year but I am on top of it this time. Thanks for writing it and for the heads-up!
