Fiction River: Unnatural Worlds Cover and More!

Time to make a few more announcements. First, here’s the cover for the trade paper edition of Fiction River: Unnatural Worlds. Dean and I found some kick-ass stories for this volume. It’s the perfect beginning to what we hope will be a long running series. So you can either pick up the edition here, or subscribe here. The volume will appear on April 23, and personally, I can’t wait.

Secondly, the final year’s best volume that Ed Gorman edited with Martin H. Greenberg came out at the end of 2012. I didn’t get my copy until just recently, so I didn’t remember to share it with you until now. I’m very proud to have “What People Leave Behind” in this volume, along with stories by some of my favorite writers like Lee Child and Michael Connelly, and Jeffrey Deaver.  So give this one a look too.

I’ll have a lot more news next week, including (I hope) an announcement a lot of you have been waiting for. So much is happening. It’s a great time to be a writer–and a reader!

A New Urban Fantasy Story!

Primitive Area UA cover web

I love taking part in the Uncollected Anthology of Urban Fantasy. Every quarter, we put out individual stories on the same theme (hence "anthology" and "uncollected"). This time, Dayle Dermatis, Leah Cutter, Ron Collins, Leslie Claire Walker, Rebecca Senese, and Annie Reed, have joined me in the Out of the Woods "anthology."
