Good Golly, Miss Molly
I call her the celebutante. That’s our little Molly, thirteen weeks old, and already short about 8 lives. We got her at the vet on impulse. She has a broken leg–well, ruined leg is more like it. And because she benefited from my small town’s charity, she’s in the local paper this week.
Here’s the article in the News Guard, complete with photo and video.
And Dean also did a post about her last week, so you can read the whole adoption saga. For the first time in our relationship, I’m the one who adopted a kitten on impulse.
Also, if you want to donate to the Beach Bark or simply get a way cool t-shirt, here’s their Facebook page. I encourage you to donate to similar funds at your local vet. Without a fund like this one, Molly wouldn’t be reminding our older cats that exercise is good and she wouldn’t be making me and Dean laugh.

How’d you get Molly to look at the camera? Would’ve thought she’d be too distracted by your awesome hair 🙂 Really, cats can’t seem to resist playing with hair!
She is unbelievably well behaved for a cat. Considering that she’s a kitten, she’s just amazing. The only real problem we’ve had with her this week is she believes legs are for climbing. But we’ve been slowly changing that notion (and wearing thick pants!), so she’s on her way to becoming perfect. 🙂 As for looking at the camera, she was looking at Dean who was using my iPhone. So she could see him pretty well.
