Free Fiction Monday: The Flower Man
Talia and Max seldom work together at a crime scene, but on this one they must, not just because of the lives lost or the way they died, but because of the memories the crime brings up. Now, Talia must employ her best forensics skills to solve the murder—and salvage her own memories in the process.

Hi, long-time fan and reader of yours who just recently found your blog. Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful stories! Really enjoyed this one. Also, if you are still tracking what ereaders people are using, I had a 1st gen ipad which was too heavy to carry around (but fine for home). My husband (the techie) bought me the mini for my birthday and now I carry it everywhere as I am an avid reader. Prefer the ipad mini which can be read in the dark, any format, over any Kindle I have tested (and of course with a camera and internet thrown in, what could be better?!).
Thank you for this, Lotus. I’m glad you’re enjoying the stories. 🙂
I have been thinking of a mini for some time as I love my iPad, but only read it at the kitchen table. I appreciate the recommendation. And I am keeping track. Seems like dedicated e-reader folks like their dedicated e-readers, but folks who started on tablets & phones like the tablets and/or phones. That brand-identification thing seems to work. 🙂
Well, it did take me along time to start reading books on the computer or any device. I truly love real books, which I still read. And part of that was the terrible formatting/spelling errors in the first ebooks (which is easy to avoid now, as they get bad reviews). But yes, I have always been an Apple person!
Beautiful. I loved it. 🙂
Thank you!
