Free Fiction Monday: The Voodoo Project
Rebekah uses her Sight to fight for good. She works for the Voodoo Project, although her work involves psy ops, not voodoo. She fears retirement and a normal life. So she keeps working, going on missions, never knowing when her next mission will be her last. Because she can see anyone’s future—except her own.
“The Voodoo Project” by Hugo-award winning writer, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, is free on this site for one week only. The story’s also available for $2.99 on Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Omnilit, and other ebookstores.
Hi Kris,
I’m really looking forward to having some time to read this!
One thing I’ve noticed though, is that the “send to kindle” button only works for me when I’m on my ipad. When I try from my (Windows) desktop, it always says “waiting for content…” and then goes to “operation timed out”. I’m not complaining, (hey, free content, right?!) I just thought I’d mention this in case it’s a larger issue.
For what it’s worth, your and Dean’s lecture series on “Practice” is incredble. Everyone interested in writing should listen to that.
Thanks on the lecture! I hope you enjoy the story.
Wish I had control over the send to Kindle button. It’s a widget, and does magic things as far as I’m concerned. 🙂
