Free Fiction Monday: The Injustice Collector
For two centuries, Injustice Collecting allowed for balance in a system populated by many sentient species. Everyone understood the system and its necessity. Until the humans arrived. They want justice for what happened to their children. But the humans don’t understand the proceedings. And misunderstandings might prove the catalyst to the greatest threat the system will ever face.
“The Injustice Collector” by Hugo-Award Winner Kristine Kathryn Rusch is free on this site for one week only. It’s also available as an e-book from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and in other bookstores.
Utterly marvelous. Kris, do you recall what gave you the idea for this story?
Every now and then, I look at baby mammals, and wonder if aliens would think them a different species. Think how different they look. I love legal fiction too, so somehow this came out. I’m glad you liked it!
I also read The Impossibles. Loved it. Already bought The Disappeared, and looking forward to reading it.
Thanks! I hope you like it!
