Anniversary Day Saga Book Trailer
Publishers Weekly scored the first review for the new books in the Anniversary Day Saga. PW loved A Murder of Clones. Here’s the upshot:
Fans of Rusch’s Retrieval Artist universe will enjoy the expansion of the Anniversary Day story, with new characters providing more perspectives on its signature events, while newcomers will get a good introduction to the series.
Nice, eh? The book will appear on January 13, 2015, in trade paper, ebook, and audio formats. You can preorder the ebook on a few sites right now, including Amazon, Kobo, and iTunes.
Those of you who haven’t read any of the Retrieval Artist books can either start at the very beginning with The Disappeared (available in all formats) or with Anniversary Day. You have time to catch up before the first of the year.
And if this book trailer, produced by the marvelous Jane Kennedy at WMG Publishing, doesn’t intrigue you, I don’t know what will. Honestly, the folks at WMG showed it to me, and said I’d get goosebumps. I’m the author; I generally don’t see what others see in things. But, dang, if I didn’t get goosebumps. Watch this. I think it captures the feel of the saga very well.

For example I just used your The Retrieval Artist Series, chronologically page to discover I did’t own copies of
The Possession of Paavo Deshin,
The Impossibles
or
The Recovery Man’s Bargain
Realizing this I purchased the first two on B&N for my Nook
However “The Recovery Man’s Bargain” is not currently available for Nook. I can get it for my Kindle but will hold off a bit. Perhaps it is in a collection of short stories somewhere, because I think I’ve read it.
Thanks, Patrick. The Recovery Man’s Bargain is indeed on Nook. You can order it here: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-recovery-mans-bargain-kristine-kathryn-rusch/1113022218?ean=9780615701622. Have you checked out the Retrieval Artist website: http://www.retrievalartist.com. Everything is on there as well. Glad you found the other books!
That video rocks. Really. You did a fantastic job. I’m not even interested in this – no offense – but I am going to put this on my “Must buy” list.
Wow!
No offense taken, Donna. All readers generally get the stuff that’s to their taste only. I’m so glad the video worked for you. I think Jane did an amazing job. 🙂
Please consider a page with the list of the books in suggested order and a Kindle, and Nook like with each.
Thanks, Patrick. That page exists on the Retrieval Artist website–without the “like” buttons (I think the page predates that tech.) Here it is: http://www.retrievalartist.com/?page_id=8.
Wow, love the trailer! Will be motivated to get to Anniversary Day on the laptop.
Thanks, Vera. Jane did a great job, didn’t she?
