  1. After I came back from Desert Storm, I remember walking around the Washington State Capital campus and I ran into this place with a low black wall set up against an embankment. It was a Vietnam War Memorial, different war, but soldiers all the same. I walked past the boundary and just got this quiet chill all of a sudden. I’ve been to the memorial in Washington, DC, as well as the Korean and WWII ones. I haven’t gotten that chill again, but I did with the story.

    Okay. Tearing up now.

    Thank you.

    Carry on.
