    Just now read this one and laughed all the way through at your spot-on comments and marvelous details. As always, the first couple of lines draw me into a story in a genre I seldom…well, never…read–except for yours.

  2. Wow, that was fun.
    I just wanted to let you know about a typo: “She starts wailing and wreathing” should be writhing instead of wreathing. Although wreathing would be interesting!
    Also, I wasn’t sure how stabbing her in the belly would get the alligator in the neck, but maybe that’s just me not understanding how a gator anatomy would correspond to its human overlay.
    Of course, none of this detracts from a terrific story. Even my 5 y.o. daughter started reading it “And…of…to…” 😉
