She appears sick, and Cullaene soon realizes only he can help her. But helping her might mean sacrificing his own life.

    Once again, a fantastic story, thank you Kris!

    And what amazed me when looking at the credits is that it was published in 1988. Meaning that you wrote it over thirty years ago, and the story still reads as if it had been written yesterday.

    I guess that’s because its main themes are universal, like fear of the alien (whoever this alien might be). And of course because you were already a masterful writer thirty years ago.
