Good News

I’m so pleased to announce that “Lieutenant Tightass,” won the Asimov’s Readers Choice Award for best novelette! I’m thrilled and honored. “Lieutenant Tightass” is a standalone part of my novel Searching For the Fleet, which is part of the Diving Universe.

If you’re interested in sampling the Diving Universe, let me suggest that you back the Diving Kickstarter. For as little as $5, you can get the new standalone novel (early), plus stretch goals that include three novellas, a lecture (for writers), and a classic online writing workshop. Plus more if we continue to hit our stretch goals. (We’ve hit three so far.)

Thank you to everyone who voted for the novelette. Thanks to Sheila Williams of Asimov’s who has supported this series from the beginning. And thanks to all of the Kickstarter backers! I’m one very lucky writer.
