Workshops! Sales! More!

Current News On Writing

I’m trying to do too many things in the space between semesters. I’m actually getting a lot done, but I’m being woefully bad at promoting everything. I’ve been relying on the cats at Promotion Central on Facebook, which really isn’t the best way to promote, because I’m neglecting all of you.

Still, I’m adding the cats here, just to give them some equal time. This post is accompanied by a photo of a meeting at Promotion Central last month, as Angel presented her ideas for the promotion. She wants action and movement (she wants me to make videos), but if I did videos of the boys, it would simply be videos of them sleeping.

The promotion they were working on was the half-off online writing workshops that we are running over the year’s end and the beginning of this year. We have a lot of online writing workshops and we added more at the end of December.

Here’s just a taste of what the new workshops are:

To see all the offerings, head to, view everything, load up your cart, and during checkout, enter the coupon code YearEnd.

And, since we’re discussing workshops, let me add something else which is not on sale. I’m teaching two in-person workshops in 2022. You have to be vaccinated and boosted in order to attend. The first is in May, and the second is in July. I’m thinking of them right now, though, because I have to do the reading lists Real Soon Now.

The in-person workshops are craft workshops. They’re always fun for me, and I hope they’re fun for the students. My two workshops this year are nearly full, so you’ll want to check them out sooner rather than later.

Okay. I’ve done my duty with this promotion. I’m going to try to be more diligent. I can’t promise anything though. I’m deep in the Fey, and I have a couple of other deadlines before the middle of the month (not counting deadlines throughout the spring), so I’m busy, busy, busy.

I hope you are having a great start to your year. And I hope that 2022 is a better year than the previous two, for all of us.
