Free Fiction Monday: Track 61

Kessa possesses only small magic. But her skills allow her to help those who wield bigger magic.
Her latest job takes her deep into the bowels of New York City’s subway system, hunting for bits of history long since forgotten.
And what she finds deep down in the dark will both threaten her life and change it forever.

I read this story year or two back and forgot about the name. So glad to see it again
What a fabulous story. Fast paced and completely absorbing.
What a great story! It was wonderful to go down into the world I visited in The World Beneath (Roosevelt’s train car! Grand Central! the tunnels!) and see magic down there. It was wonderful fun.
Thank you! I have simply got to read more Joe Tesla. I love the short fiction.
