Inspiration for novelists

A friend sent me this link to a short Neil Gaiman essay on writing novels. All novelists get stuck or lose interest somewhere in the middle of a novel. Writing a novel isn’t so much like running a marathon, which you do in one day. Instead, it’s more like training for one. Some days you’ll feel like you can run anywhere, and some days you don’t want to get out of bed. Neil addresses these issues in his brief essay, which is one of the best I’ve seen on the topic.
