Sometimes I have no idea where stories come from. They just evolve.
Annie Reed and Dave Hendrickson asked me to participate in their Romance For All Seasons anthology subtitled Festive Fall. They asked for something that would suggest fall and told me that it was okay to include magic in the story.
Well, my brain came up with a combination of magic, the Breakfast Club, and two unlikely couples. Oh, and nearly 100 Homecoming kings. Yes, you read that right.
