Maybe the title of this fantasy collection, one of four collections available in the Seavy County Kickstarter, describes Seavy County the best. Seavy County is an imaginary part of the Oregon Coast. It’s full of magic and horror and crime and romance and yes, music. The Kickstarter ends at 7 p.m. Pacific Time tonight, so you don’t have a lot of time to pick up your Seavy County reading.
And there’s a lot of reading. Everyone gets the three main dark fantasy novels, if they back for $18. You’ll also get five Winston & Ruby short stories as part of the stretch goals, and even more short fiction. You’ll get a bonus novel, The Death of Davy Moss, as well as writing workshops to take or give to your writer friends.
But the collections are the heart of the Kickstarter for me. I’ve finally organized all of my Seavy County stories. There are two collections of fantasy, one related to the novel FantasyLife and the other is Magic, Music, and Secrets. The stories in this collection stand alone. They all take place on different parts of the Oregon Coast, and range in mood from the romantic “Helmie” to the dark “Ghosts of Christmas Present.”
You can get this collection and the other three as part of the Kickstarter. If you’re intrigued, click here. You only have a few hours left to get all the cool Seavy County books.
